Equine Osteopath Competency Examination (EOCE)
The EOCE is a test designed and administered by an international board of EDO® examiners to measure the examinee’s osteopathic knowledge, application of osteopathic theory, and performance of osteopathic techniques. The EOCE has two parts: a theoretical exam and a practical exam. Passing the EOCE demonstrates your proficiency in advanced animal osteopathy and awards you use of the trademarked EDO® title while you are a member in good standing with REDOI.
Obtaining and using the EDO® title:
-
Distinguishes you in interactions with horse owners, other equine professionals, and veterinarians in the growing unregulated animal therapy industry.
-
Demonstrates that you are dedicated to pursuing additional osteopathic education for equine, canine, or animal osteopathy and quality whole animal care.
-
Affirms your dedication to expanding your knowledge and advancing your clinical knowledge and skills throughout your career.
